So you have six siblings?? I guess that makes for a very busy Christmas. And are you all getting together for Mother's Day this Sunday? In fact , do your brothers and sisters live in Mass.? And just where is Florence?
You see, I have alot of questions, just a part of my nosiness I guess. But you do sound very interesting I must say.
As for me i have a 10 year old boy who is going on 20 and of course thinks he knows everything. How old are you kids? Anyway, I am an electrical contractor and I do like what I do. I love to problem solve and work with my hands. I did own several restaurants, which I built, here in San Francisco, but after almost 10 years of never having a life or a day off I finally sold them all and I can't tell you how good that felt. It was as if the weight of the entire British empire was taken off my shoulders. So anyway, I went back to contracting and it was right when the dot-coms hit, and was just the right timing. There was so much money flowing around here it was obscene.
Speaking of obscene, I just went to see "Enron - The smartest Guys in the Room". Absolutely excellant!! I just wish they would walk in and take every nickel Lay & Schilling hid off shore and give it back to the pension fund.
Anyway, I have to run as I have to do some billing, but was desperately looking for a way to avoid it, (and also write you).

Dear Jozee,

A slip of wrist, a double carriage return (excuse my antiquatedness, make that a double "enter", which given the subject line that I previously wrote may appear to be a double "entendre" - no french, or pun intended) and you get a couple of mysterious blank emails from a (not so) secret admirer.

I was given this my in the hope that I would engage in a priestly vocation (perhaps you're, by this time, wishing I had) but, to the disappointment of many, I did not. And while few would consider me saintly, former lovers have, at least at times, considered me yummy! Perhaps those who chose my name were quite prescient afterall.

I chose to use the name here at Matchsticks in part because I didn't have to add a numerical appendage to it, as was so with other choices I had in mind, and also because of the romantic cache french seems to hold for females, which is why I'm here. Ooops, don't misunderstand me, I'm not in search of a harem, just one (female) will do. Based on past experience (which, I must add, to prevent any further misunderstanding to the contrary, was never more than one at a time) one is plenty! Especially if that One is of the caliber, that I intuit from your smile and your prose, that you posses.

Speaking of your prose, it, and your your continual editing and refinement of it in your profile, belies your protestation that you are, "ne pas intellectual," as you say. Do you doubt your intellectual prowess, Jozee? Is a ghost writer penning your potent prose? You needn't feel alone. Self doubts come with the spacesuit (be it male or female) that both allows us to Be on this paradisical planet and to overcome those doubts, for once and for eternity, while we're here. I have them. Your prose hit so squarely on one of mine that I've struggled with for some time, that besides provoking fruitful contemplation, moved me to allude to it in my last note, albeit covertly, in rhyme. Contemplation - a legal pyro activity if ever there was one. Yajna - sacrificial fire in the smithy of one's soul, where the dross of doubt disappears leaving the gold of goodness. There ought to be a law - not allowing such pyro activities, but insisting on them.

I can only remember the punch line, which I won't repeat, since it would just sounds digusting without the lead-up to it.. I know what you mean about being transported thru dimensions, it's something I'm very prone to doing. I spent some time in the 5th dimension, just yesterday! I was in Bali when I took those pictures, I have a lot more, I think I'll post a few. The reason I was there was to train some people in a CAD jewelry design program. We're developing a service merging traditional craftsmanship and modern technology. I may be going back for an extended trip in a month or so, so I'm not sure what I'm doing on Matchsticks.com.
